Meet Vanessa Green Allen, the super cool school counselor from Raleigh, North Carolina! She’s not just any counselor, she’s a professional counselor with a special degree called MEd, NBCT. Impressive, right?

Vanessa loves kids so much that she wrote an amazing book called “The No More Bullying Book for Kids.” It’s all about stopping bullies and making sure everyone feels safe and happy in school. But wait, there’s more!

Vanessa is super smart too. She went to a special university called North Carolina Central University and got a degree in elementary education. Then, she went to another special university called North Carolina State University and got a master’s degree in counseling. Wow, she’s got brains and a big heart!

Before becoming a counselor, Vanessa was a second-grade teacher. She knows exactly what it’s like to be a student and how important it is to have a caring counselor by your side. Since 1991, Vanessa has been working for the Wake County Public School System. That’s a long time! She’s helped so many kids and made a big difference in their lives.

Not only that, but Vanessa is also a certified teacher. She got a special certification called National Board Certification in the area of school counseling. That means she’s really, really good at what she does!

On her website, she shares all kinds of fun ideas and helpful resources with school counselors from all over the world. She’s an awesome counselor, spreading her knowledge and making the world a better place.
